I'm a mother of two, Haley 12 and Madison 2. I grew up in Granada Hills, CA. I now live in Valencia, California where I spend my days taking care of my family. I've had two totally different births. I have had an all natural 19 hour birth and another 19 hour birth with an epidural. I was successful breastfeeding one child and wasn't able to breast feed the other. I truly believe everyone has the right to their own birth experience. My purpose as a Doula is to make sure I support you through your birth no matter what type of birth you choose. My first time practicing as a Doula was in 1997 when I supported my good friend through her labor. I have finished my training to become a Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula,Lactation Educator, and Childbirth Educator through CAPPA, a Internationally and Nationally recognized Association. I believe every woman should do all she can to make the best, most educated choices about her birth. I encourage every pregnant woman to understand that your birth is your own, cherish it,own it and share it! No matter whether it was medicated,induced,or a c-section EVERY birth is powerful & beautiful! Welcome to Motherhood! |
