My services as a Birth Doula include:
Free initial interview
Mentoring you as you set goals to become the mother you want to be
2 prenatal visits
Assistance in writing your Birth Plan
On call for your birth, even coming to your home when labor begins
Continuous personal support for Mom during birth and delivery
Support the partner so that he/she can provide support and encouragement to the laboring mama
Explanations of medical procedures and interventions
Immediate postpartum support, including initiating breastfeeding
I will create a supportive,relaxing, and peaceful birthing environment for Mom and partner
Labor techniques such as: position changes, relaxation, massage, birth ball, meditation(assistance with hypno-
birthing, although I'm not an instructor)
Help the Mom to feel connected to her birth experience following delivery
Photography during labor and birth, as desired
Provide important references for professional support
1 Postpartum visit following the birth to reflect on the birth and discuss your questions
